PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overheat compression of a compressor, to the change of the operation state by disturbance, sudden change of load, etc. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is composed of a freezing cycle where a compressor 1, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve 4, and an indoor heat exchanger are connected by a pipe, a discharge temperature sensor 1 which detects the discharge temperature of the compressor 1, an estimation means 20 which accumulates the discharge temperatures of the compressor 1 detected by the discharge temperature sensor 1 in every specified time and estimates the discharge temperature of the compressor after a specified time, a comparison means 20 which compares the discharge temperature of the compressor after the specified time estimated with this estimation means with the upper limit of the temperature of a discharge pipe, and a means 20 which increases the quantity of operation in the direction of opening the expansion valve in case that the discharge temperature of the compressor after a specified time estimated with the estimating means is over the upper limit value of the temperature of the discharge pipe as the result of comparison by this comparison means. |
