The endoscope comprises a "Bowden" (RTM) cable tractive cover (21) and device (13) contains a "Bowden" (RTM) cable (19) is available for operating the Albarran (RTM) mechanism. Within the endoscope and against the interior of the endoscope housing a sealed "Bowden" (RTM) cable tractive channel (27) is arranged. The cable tractive device after loosening of a device at the distal end and-or at the proximal end for connecting the cable tractive cover with the endoscope is longitudinally displaceable in the cable tractive channel. The support device on the endoscope is fixable in a complementary device, and this by means of fixture components (23,25). The support device is formed as a slide.
