A container pot, partic. one made of plastics, has a top closure and a flange to fit over the top; it has an inner tube with sealing lip, which fits into the top and has a collar. A U-section ring engages the flange and an edge on the collar; a top rim of this ring meets the flange whilst a lower part of the ring engages a corresp. part of the top of the pot.
