The file (1) incorporates a ring clip (2) with prongs (4) over which the punched holes in a sheet can be passed. The file consists of two covers (7,8), connected to one another by a spine (9). One of the covers is attached to the ring clip so that the prongs of the clip pass around the rear edge (10) of one of the covers (7) to its other side. The spine of the folder is attached to the outside of one of the covers (7) and passes over the outside of the clip and is attached to the second file cover (8).
