<p>A device comprising a spring-loaded valve (21) actuated by a delay in the decrease in the pressure of an accumulator (28) supplied via a port (29), relative to the pressure in the nozzle holder inlet line (14, 15). Opening of the valve (21) controls rapid closure of the nozzle (2) by using the energy still stored in the line (14, 15) to urge the needle (5). A return port (30) enables the discharge of unused fuel. Said device is particularly useful in diesel engines fitted with pulsed-flow injection pumps.</p> |
