PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photosemiconductor element contained in a vessel to be operated regularly and stably for a long time by a method wherein a fixing member junctioning a transmissive member made of amophous glass is formed of a soft material within a specific range of Young' modulus for completely airtight sealing the vessel. SOLUTION: A cylindrical fixing member 9 with a photofiber 10 inserted thereinto is formed of soft material of the Young modulus of 5000-13000kg/mm<2> . Thus, when a transmissive member 11 made of amorphous glass is to be junctioned with a fixing member 9 attached to a frame body 2, even if the stress caused by the difference in the thermal expansion coefficients of the transmissive member 11 and the frame body 2 effects on the transmissive member 11, the stress is absorbed into the fixing member 9. Through these procedures, the damages such as cracking or crazing in the transmissive member 11 due to the stress can be almost avoided thereby enabling the complete airtight sealing of the vessel to be attained as well as the photosemiconductor element 4 contained inside the vessel to be operated regularly and stably for a long time.
