PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to automatically cover a ball for soft ball and a ball for base ball, by providing two covers to cover a core and fastening the covers to the core set in a suitable direction and automatically moving the core and the cover through a working cycle. SOLUTION: A first end part 26 has a protruding semicircular periphery edge part 28 on each panel before covering a core. A second end part 30 also has a protruding semicircular periphery edge part 32 substantially same as the first periphery edge part 28. Intermediate parts 38 are set between end parts. The intermediate part 38 has an upper periphery edge part 40, and a lower periphery edge part 42 at the opposite side of the upper one. Upper and lower edge parts 40 and 42 respectively have an almost semicircular dent shape and are formed as connecting parts of neighboring end parts. For a 12in. soft ball, the radius of curvature A of each end part is about 1.458in. and the radius of curvature B of intermediate part is about 6.625in. and end part makes an angle C of about 227.75 deg.. |
