PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition developing a desirable viscosity when heated at a specific temperature and capable of forming a water-resistant image having high quality on an uncoated paper by adding a triblock copolymer and a dye or a pigment. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a dye or a pigment and (B) a triblock copolymer vehicle. The amounts of the components A and B are preferably about 0.1-40wt.% and about 60-99wt.%, respectively. The component B preferably has a weight-average molecular weight of about 500-2,500 and a number-average molecular weight of about 450-2,200. The ink preferably has a viscosity of about 1-20cp at about 120-160 deg.C. The ink is especially preferable for acoustic ink-jet printing. |
