MOLDED PRODUCT FOR RETARDING CEMENT HARDENING, AND PRODUCTION OF SURFACE-DECORATED CONCRETE PRODUCT UTILIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject molded product consisting of a porous form sinkable when pressed, and imparted with ability to retard cement hardening so as to be capable of easily and efficiently forming joint grooves of constant depth among decorative materials for a surface-decorated concrete product. SOLUTION: This molded product consists of a porous form sinkable when pressed, having ability to retard cement hardening. The porous form may be either a resin composition foam or nonfoam of e.g. nonwoven fabric. This molded product may either consist of a porous foam having ability to retard cement hardening or be constructed by providing a cement hardening retarding layer on the surface of a porous form. The former is e.g. a porous form consisting of a resin having ability to retard cement hardening; the resin is pref. an unsaturated polyester with maleic acid (anhydride) as the polycarboxylic acid component. This molded product is obtained, for example, by expansion molding of a resin composition comprising the above unsaturated polyester resin and inorganic powder.
