<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a container to be easily crushed at the time of disposal by forming a container body wall to be thin by providing specially shaped ribs on a wall face of a cylindrical hollow container. SOLUTION: An easy-to-crush hollow container comprises a cylindrical hollow container molded of biaxially draw-blown synthetic resin including a shoulder 2 connected to a mouth 1, a body 3 and a bottom 4, wherein a plurality of protruding ribs comprising ribs 3a curved in a downward arc within a range of a half lateral periphery of the body 3 and ribs 3b curved in an upward arc which are combined into a flat O-shape are continuously formed on a wall face of the body of the container at symmetric positions on a front and rear of the container. Then parts 3c in a shape of a convex lens generated on the front and the rear of the container enclosed by the protruding ribs and rhombic parts 3d generated on both sides of the container are formed into recessed ribs.</p> |
