PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance design, increase the degree of freedom in shape, and in addition, manufacture it inexpensively by a method wherein after a cloth surface skin which is reform-processed so that the pile may tilt in a uniform direction, and a thermoplastic resin base material are heat-softened, they are integrally press-molded by a die for molding. SOLUTION: A cloth surface skin 30 is reform-processed by a heat roll 40 in such a manner that the pile 30a may tilt in a uniform direction. This reform- processed cloth surface skin 30 and a raw fabric of a foamable base material are superposed with a hot melt film in between, and under a state wherein the peripheral edges are held by a clamping device, a heater device is turned on, and the foamable base material and the cloth surface skin 30 are heated to a specified temperature. Then, after heat-softening the raw fabric of the foamable base material and the cloth surface skin 30, they are set in top and bottom dies for cold press molding, and a closing is performed by the top and the bottom dies by lowering the top die for cold press molding, at, e.g. a pressing pressure of 25,000kg f, for a press period of time of 20sec, and by doing so, the modling of a roof trim for automobile, is completed. |
