FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: in particular, invention relates to suppressing pulsations of fibrous suspensions in end mechanisms of paper-making machines. Pressure pulsations in working suspension stream are first measured and then pulsations are compensated by adding variable stream of compensating liquid. Pressure pulsations in working suspension after compensation are continuously measured. On the basis of primary and secondary measurements, spectrum of signal controlling variable stream of compensating liquid is automatically adjusted to minimize power of pulsations occurring when secondary pulsations are secondarily measured.
