The invention relates to a method for fixing devices in compressed matrix structures such as fibre boards, which are manufactured by pressing a matrix material 16 between press elements 15, 15a and by subjecting the said matrix material 16 to a hardening process. In the matrix at least one separate element is arranged, which comprises a surface section 12 and an insert section 11, the said insert section 11 being made to diverge by its root so that it extends at an angle in relation to the matrix material. Such elements are arranged on the surface of a press element 15 before the matrix material 16 is fed in. The press elements 15, 15a are then moved in order to compress the matrix material 16 to its ultimate dimensions, the end section 13 of the insert section 11 being bent and fastening itself to the matrix material 16 in the compressed structure. The invention also relates to a structure, which comprises such separate elements that are embedded therein. The said insert section 11 extends into the matrix material 16 at an angle in relation to the surface of the structure, and the said surface 12 extends along the said surface 9a and in the same plane as this surface, from which position they can be lifted up. The invention also relates to a special use of the said structure for permanent mould production. <IMAGE>
