Treatment of soils polluted with poly:aromatic hydrocarbon compounds

Treating soil contaminated by polyaromatic hydrocarbons comprises: (a) extracting the contaminated soil; (b) mixing with an aerating texturing agent; and (c) adding a nutrient. Previous to the mixing of the soil and aerating agent, the agent is seeded with a micro-organism capable of bio-degrading polyaromatic hydrocarbons.
