The invention concerns a dispensing top (1) for a container (2) opening and closing by translation, comprising a movable cap (5) provided with a dispensing orifice (6). and an internal fixed piece (4) for closing the said orifice, the said cap being mounted movable in translation in an external body (3) and provided with at least one lateral slide (9a, 9b) externally accessible for actuating the cap (5). The top is characterised in that the external body (3) is partly closed above leaving a passage (15) for the central portion of the cap (5) which is shaped like a vent (14)and provided at its dispensing orifice (6) end, and in that the said external body (3) and the internal closing piece (4) are in two separate pieces, both fixed on the container (2) thus forming with the cap (5) three distinct pieces, while the slide(s) (9a, 9b) are accessible from outside each through a window (10a, 10b) fitted for this purpose in the said external body (3) and consist of tabs arranged in the movable cap (5) and having a certain radial elasticity.
