<p>Cash dispensing patterns at an ATM are evaluated to facilitate maintaining a cash dispenser (18) of the ATM with sufficient cash. The amount of cash dispensed during a particular transaction at the ATM is determined. The time at which the cash was dispensed is also determined. An actual dispense pattern is then determined which is based upon the amount of cash dispensed and the time at which the cash was dispensed. The actual dispense pattern is compared with a predicted dispense pattern stored in a memory (34). Based upon the results of this comparison, a real-time signal is generated which is indicative of when the cash dispenser (18) should be replenished. <IMAGE></p> |
