PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize instant data communication and a large amount of data communication by making a first received incoming message into a second outgoing message, transmitting it in return to a transmission source terminal, and allowing the transmission source terminal to receive the second outgoing message returned-transmitted by a communication control means. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a CATV center station 10, a meter inspecting center equipment 11, a meter inspecting terminal 12 and a transmission line 14 capable of bi-directional communication. The station 10 is provided with a center communication controller 101, a modulator 102, a wage mixer/divider 103 and a demodulator 104. The incoming message is a message the station 10 receives from the equipment 11, etc., and the outgoing message is a message the station 10 transmits to the equipment 11, etc. Then the first received incoming message is made into a second outgoing message and transmitted to the transmission source terminal in return, and the transmission source terminal receives the returned-transmitted second message. Then at the time of receiving the second outgoing message, the transmission source terminal completes bi-directional data communication with the transmission source terminal. |
