PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which a room temperature control can be improved and the life of a compressor can be increased. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is provided with a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor 1, an outdoor heat exchanger 2, a motor-operated valve 3 and an indoor heat exchanger 4 are connected together in a ring shape. A room temperature discriminating part 10c discriminates whether room temperature detected by a room temperature sensor 6 is lower than set room temperature or not. When the room temperature discriminating part 10c discriminates that the room temperature is lower than the set room temperature during the operation of the compressor 1 at minimum operating frequency, an air quantity control part 10b of an air supply fan reduces the air volume of an air supply fan 5 for the indoor heat exchanger 4 in accordance with a command from an air volume decrease command part 10d. Accordingly, the number of times of starts and stops of the compressor 1 can be decreased. |
