PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abrasion of the edge of a cutter to maintain the edge sharply, in the case where the cutter is moved in the direction orthogonal to a traveling direction to cut a metallic film, with a roll placed in the direction orthogonal to the traveling direction as a dunnage, by using a bias cutting method as a method for cutting a metallic film in travel. SOLUTION: Wide width metallic films 11 and 21 are moved in traveling, in a direction receding with each other toward an outer side in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction from the center vicinity in the width direction of the films 11 and 21, and while pushing a pair of cutters at a same speed with each other. Consequently, in cutting the films 11 and 21, they can be cut while rotating rotary cutters 111a and 111b by using a pair of rotaty cutters 111a and 111b as a cutting cutter for the films 11 and 21.
