PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a temp. coefft. of resonance frequency close to zero and a small dielectric loss in a microwave band and to increase dielectric constant by adding at least one kind of additive selected from among B2 O3 , SiO2 , GeO2 and Na2 O to a specified principal compsn. SOLUTION: At least one kind of additive selected from among 0.01-5.0wt.% B2 O3 , 0.05-3.0wt.% SiO2 , <=2.0% GeO2 and <=2.0wt.% Na2 O is added to a principal compsn. obtd. by mixing and calcining BaCO3 , SrO, Sm2 O3 , BiO2 O3 , La2 O3 and TiO2 and represented by the formula aBaO-bSrO-cSm2 O3 -eLa2 O3 -fTiO2 [where the units of (a)-(f) are mol%, 13.6<=a+b<=18.6, 14.7<=c+d+e<=19.2, 64.5<=f<=69.2, 0<=b<=5.5, 2.0<=d<=9.4, 0<=e<=6.0 and a+b+c+d+e+f=100mol%] and they are sintered. |
