摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection method to build up inexpensively an optical communication system with high reliability. SOLUTION: A parallel optical fiber cord 3 includes N sets of optical fibers as a cord for optical connection. A central controller 1 and all nodes 2 are connected by the parallel optical fiber cord 3 similarly to that of a loop form or a daisy chain form. Then a required number of optical fibers is occupied in the parallel optical fiber cord 3 sequentially from the node 2 located close to the central controller 1. The node 2 occupies the optical fiber by 1st to x-th ports of a 2nd receptor 23. Furthermore, (x+1)th to N-th ports of the 2nd receptor 23 are optically connected to 1st to (N-x)th ports of a 1st receptor 22 and given to succeeding nodes. In the succeeding nodes 2, required number of optical fibers similarly to the case with the 1st node and then an optical communication path is established.
