PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven color by fixing the accumulated quantity of fixing light constantly over the entire recording area through a simple structure. SOLUTION: A shutter 40 is disposed between a recording paper 12 and a fixing unit 35. When a rear end E1 of a recording area PA arrives at a forward and B1 of a fixing light irradiating area A1 of fixing lamps 36, 37 in the fixing unit 35, the shutter 40 is moved in the feeding direction of the recording paper 12 at same speed as the feeding speed. Since the entire recording area PA passes through the fixing light irradiating area A1, the accumulated quantity of fixing light can be distributed uniformly over the entire recording area PA even when the quantity of fixing light is not distributed uniformly in the fixing light irradiating area A1. Furthermore, loss of the recording paper 12 is eliminated because the nonrecording area NPA adjacent to the recording area PA is shielded by means of the shutter 40. |
