<p>A method for facilitating data communications between remotely located conference participants. Data from documents to be shared with the conference participants is converted into a database of images, which is then transferred to the remote locations. The conference leader (14) then holds a teleconference with the participants (34), during which the standard telephone line (18) being used by the participants (16, 36) is also used to transmit data commands (22, 42) which select various images (44) in the database for display on the participants' computer monitors (32).</p> |
