The support comprises means to retain the hose and means to space the retaining means from a support surface. One support has a hollow tube 2B open at one end and a shoulder 2C at its other end, an access slot running the length of the tube 2B across the top thereof. The tube 2B is attached to a support shaft 2E which can be inserted into the ground. A garden hose can be passed through the top slot in the tube 2B whereby a hose jet connector 2D can locate in the tube 2B, being prevented from being drawn out of the latter by the shoulder 2C. The tube can be fixed or adjustable on the shaft 2E and can have a hook for retaining on a hanging basket. Alternative supports have shafts supporting a plug-in connector between the hose and jet or a sleeve with a tapered bore for the jet nozzle or a rear loop for the hose and a forward jet cradle. |
