Oil feeding arrangement in an automatic transmission

The gear transmission includes pressure channels arranged coaxially in rotating shafts so that oil flows under pressure from adjacent components into the channels through coaxially arranged connection channels which move relatively w.r.t. each other. A tube (168, 230) connects the connection channel with the pressure channel, and is firmly fixed at one end and held at the other end through a bearing (237, 171) in a sealed manner. The length of the tube is pref. greater than five times its outer diameter, and a ring-like space is formed between the reed and the shaft, which functions as a further oil channel.
