PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel having a high numerical aperture and a method for producing the same, especially a method for producing a liquid crystal display panel used as a projection device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel using a substrate 41, a white resin pattern 42 incorporating light shielding particles covers the circumference of a pixel electrode 5 and a light shielding body 44 is formed on a light transmission part 43 generated in the white resin pattern 42 by flocculation of the light shielding particles. In the production method of the substrate 41, a transparent conductive film for forming the pixel electrode is stuck thereon, a light shielding film is laminated on the transparent conductive film, the pixel electrode 5 and a light shielding pattern laminated thereon are formed of the transparent conductive film and the light shielding film, a white resist film incorporating light shielding particles is stuck thereon, the white resin pattern 42 covering the circumference of the pixel electrode is formed of the white resist film, a negative type colored resist film covering the white resin pattern 42 is stuck thereon, the colored resist film is exposed through the white resin pattern 42 and it developed, then the light shielding pattern is removed. |
