<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiallergic agent which contains a specific dibenzoxepin derivative as an active ingredient, has excellent antiallergic action and is effective against bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria and the like. SOLUTION: A dibenz[b,e]oxepin derivative of formula I [A is a single bond, CH=CH, (CH2 )n ((n) is an integer of 1-3); R<1> and R<2> are each H, a lower alkyl] and its pharmaceutically permissible salts are used as an antiallergic agent. The compound of formula I is prepared, for example, by protecting the carboxyl group in the compound of formula II with a proper protecting group R<3> , oxidizing the product of formula III and deprotecting the oxidized product of formula IV. As a salt of the compound of formula I, Na salt, K salt, Mg salt, ammonium salt, morpholinium salt, a lysine salt or of a histidine salt are cited.</p> |
