<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the effective insulation of a wall of a building based on low heat transfer rate and inflammability of rice husks by providing an insulation material which uses rice husks so that density is in a specific scope in a packed condition. SOLUTION: An insulation material made of rice husks used for manufacturing an insulation material pocking is manufactured in such a manner that density is in a scope of 120 to 270kg/<3> in a packed condition, preferably, 220kg/m<3> . Moreover, at this time, a bactericide applied layer is preferably provided on rice husks, and a component of the bactericide is set in a scope of 1 to 10weight%. Moreover, borax is favorable as bactericide, a component of this borax of 5weight% is used, and it is preferable that rice husks are provided with hydrophobic coating. Rice husks are compressed in a scope of coefficient of 1.2 to 2.5 during the packing of rice husks, and the application of bactericide is done before a compression process.</p> |
