PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which can be driven at high speed with high discharge capability and discharge efficiency, and a liquid discharge device using this head. SOLUTION: One of the ends of a movable member 31 is fixed to a support member 34 formed by patterning photosensitive resin on the wall of a liquid flow path 10 or an element substrate 1. Thus the movable member 31 is retained in place and at the same time, constitutes a fulcrum 33. In addition, an interval between the element substrate 1 and the movable member 31 varies and is the smallest in a bubble generating area.
