SOLUTION: This automatic focusing camera is provided with an information contents changing means for automatically changing the contents of information possessed by a digital signal from a digital signal input means for setting the information, in accordance with the set state of an operating member ((#202)→(#209) or (#202)→(#203)) and a region switching means for receiving a signal from the information contents changing means, to change over an information detecting region ((#205) to (#213)). Even if the same digital signal is inputted, one of plural information detecting region switching quantities previously set is selected with the set state of the operating member at that time, so that the information detecting region can be switched according to the selected switching quantity. |
