Thienotriazolodiazepine compounds of the formula (1) <IMAGE> (1) wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and pharmaceutical use thereof. The compounds of the present invention are useful as preventive and therapeutic drugs for inflammatory diseases and allergic diseases, in which cell adhesion is involved.
