PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spoiling of an external appearance of an air conditioner by making a cover close a pipe take-out portion which is opened at the time of moving a main body and shifting a position of the pipe take-out portion. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is so constructed that a casing is made of a base 2 and a front panel 3 which is mounted on the front face of the base 2. A pipe accommodating portion is mounted on the lower portion on the rear face of the base 2 and is provided with pipe take-out portions at the side faces and the bottom face thereof. Each pipe take-out portion is provided with a cover 2a which is connected to the pipe take-out portion by means of a pair of lateral hinge portions 2b. At the time of taking out connecting pipes from the pipe take-out portion, either one of the lateral hinge portions 2b is severed so that the cover 2a is pivoted on the remaining lateral hinge portion to open or close the pipe take-out portion. |
