PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen display method and a television receiver with built-in internet receiver with easy operation and capable of displaying an easy- to-see picture on a browser screen to observe internet information on the television receiver. SOLUTION: The browser screen is displayed for receiving the internet information and a tool bar is displayed at the top of the browser screen (F). When a user selects a desired function (e.g. to select the function to return to the screen before 13) from the tool bar by a cursor with an operating part such as a mouse, a button is magnified and displayed at the bottom of the screen and a character representing the function is simultaneously displayed (G). And when the user clicks the button with the operating part such as the mouse, display of the button changes to a recessed shape (H).
