摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a recording head by which it is possible to laser-fabricate an ink discharge aperture constantly at an exactly specified position on the top plate of a liquid injection recording head, based on the ridge of a laser-fabricated ink flow path groove. SOLUTION: On a top plate with laser-fabricated ink flow path grooves 2, a pollutant 5 generated by the laser fabrication of the ink flow path grooves sticks to a fabricated groove face and a discharge aperture plate 3. Therefore, the pollutant 5 sticking to an area near a ridge 21 between the fabricated groove face 20 and the discharge aperture plate 3 is removed by irradiation with a laser beam 4. Then the ridge 21 after removal of the pollutant 5 is observed and detected through an objective lens, and an ink discharge aperture is positioned using the ridge 21 as a reference position. Next, the ink discharge aperture is fabricated by irradiation with the laser beam 4. Thus the ink discharge aperture can be accurately fabricated by referring to the ridge 21 as a criterion, between the ink flow path groove 2 and the discharge aperture plate 3, from which the pollutant is removed.</p>
