PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an interior member for a vehicle, which is lightweight and has high strength and strong against thermal shock, by using a sheetlike base material becoming air permeable through expansion at time of heating and performing pressure forming. SOLUTION: A first and second sheetlike base materials 31, 32 are formed by mixing a chopped glass fiber with an olefin resin powder by a wet method. The first and second sheetlike base materials 31, 32 and two sheets of olefin resin sheets 41, 42 are heated and overlapped. These are arranged between forming molds 1, 2 and mold clamping is performed. Further, compressed air is introduced between two sheets of olefin resin sheets 41, 42 and the first and second sheetlike base materials 31, 32 are contact-bonded on the molding face sides of the forming molds to form a hollow part 7. |
