摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the arithmetic time required to determine an indication position by providing a means which calculates three-dimensional coordinates of a feature point from the optical axis direction of an image pickup means and the mutual distance, calculates the indication position where a direction indication straight line and an object cross each other, and displays a pointer at the calculated indication position. SOLUTION: A pointer position calculating means 38 obtain relative three- dimensional coordinates of three points viewed from centralized cameras 11 and 12 from the angle of the optical axis direction of the centralized cameras 11 and 12, the mutual distance between the cameras 11 and 12, and two-dimensional coordinates of the vertexes of a small triangle outputted from a feature point extracting means 35. Then the plane which is determined uniquely by the obtained three-dimensional coordinates of the three points is calculated and a straight line which is perpendicular to the calculated plane and passes a nearly center point among the three points is calculated as a face directional vector. Then the intersection of the obtained face directional vector and a display screen is calculated in the form of coordinates on the display screen and the calculated coordinates are outputted to a display processing means 36.</p>
