PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which a processing can be attained at a high speed while the deterioration of an image quality is suppressed. SOLUTION: Picture data are inputted from a picture inputting part 1, and divided into blocks in a prescribed size by a block dividing part 2. Then, a representative value and an additional value are respectively calculated by a representative value calculating part 3 and an additional information calculating part 5 according to an interpolation system selected by an interpolation system selecting part 8, and stored in a representative value storing part 4 and an additional information storing part 6. A picture processing is operated to the representative value stored in the representative storing part 4 by a pixel value computing part 7. The representative value after the picture processing is read to an interpolation processing part 10, and a picture after the picture processing is restored by the interpolation processing with the additional information stored in the additional information storing part 6. The picture after the interpolation processing is transmitted to a picture outputting part 11, for example, in the order as it is processed, and outputted. |
