PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting/demounting work of a filter and improve safety of the work by proving an access hole for the filter in a lower part of a front surface of a range hood body through to mount and demount the filter through the access hole. SOLUTION: Once a suction fan 10 is first started, smoke from a range is introduced through a smoke collection hole 8 and is guided by a straightening guide 12 and is sucked in the suction fan 10 after passage through a filter 9 and is exhausted to the outside through a smoke exhaust hole. The filter 9 used over a long time and soiled with stains can be taken out from an access hole 11 in a lower part of a front surface of the range hood body 7 by holding a knob T upon it and taking it out to the outside for cleaning. Thus, since mounting and demounting of the filter 9 can be achieved with a natural posture, work is facilitated and workability is improved. |
