IP NETWORK CONNECTING METHOD, IP NETWORK TRANSLATOR AND NETWORK SYSTEM USING TRANSLATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a scanty first kind of IP(internet protocol) address by assigning the first kind of IP address to a second kind of internet protocol address which is given to an objective equipment and executing the communication. SOLUTION: The TCP/IPv4 reception processing part of an IPv4 terminal 53 TCP/I-receives an IPv4 packet flowing in an IPv4 network 54 and gives it to an address conversion-processing part 3. The address conversion processing part picks out an IPv4 address, being the originating source IP address of the packet, searches an IPv6 address which is permitted to correspond to the address from an address conversion table and extracts the IPv6 address. Then, the address conversion processing part sets the IPv6 address inside the packet as a transmission source IP address and transmits the packet to an IPv6 application. The IPv6 address obtained by extending the IPv4 address to be an IPv4- mapped-IPv6 address is used as a destination IP address.
