<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an operated coordinate position even if the operation point is nearby an end electrode by including the electrode at the other end part when the operated coordinate position is calculated with high precision by detecting variation of electrostatic capacity between groups among plural electrodes in the operation area. SOLUTION: The voltage variation B1 of Y electrode 261 becomes to the maximum level, for example, in the group, so the Y electrode Y1 is selected as a 1st electrode, a virtual Y electrode Y0 which is adjacent to the Y electrode 261 is selected as a 2nd electrode, and a Y electrode 262 which is adjacent to the Y electrode Y1 is selected as a 3rd electrode; and the coordinate positions A", B", and C" of the selected 1st-3rd electrodes 261 , 260 , and 262 are obtained. Then the quadratic curve shown by the obtained coordinate positions A", B", and C" is used to obtain the Y coordinate of a contact place from a prescribed expression. Thus, the coordinate position of the 2nd electrode adjoining to the 1st electrode showing voltage value variation at the maximum level is selected at the coordinate position of the electrode at the other end part, so the center value of the coordinate position is calculated with high precision.</p> |
