PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the start time required for an emergency DC motor driven at emergency to reach the specified revolution. SOLUTION: At normal operation, an AC motor 2 is driven by an AC power source 3 to rotate a normal auxiliary machine (for example, a lubricant circulation pump) 1, and also an emergency DC motor 5 is driven by a DC power source 6 to rotate an emergency auxiliary machine (an emergency lubricant circulation pump) 4. Even if the AC power 3 is lost or there occurs an abnormality in the normal auxiliary machine 1 and the operation of the normal auxiliary machine 1 stops, the start time becomes substantially zero because the emergency DC motor 5 is rotating. |
