PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely diagnose the fault of a CPU itself by reloading the contents in an input converting area, arithmetic work converting area or output converting area into write data for diagnosis stored inside a ROM and collating them with output expected data. SOLUTION: Out of one set of paired data in a ROM 8 selected beforehand first of all, are selected, and next, these output expected data OD to be outputted expected data are collated with data in an arithmetic work converting area A-2 and an output converting area A-3 provided by preceding operation. In this case, the matching of collation is discriminated concerning all the data of collating objects, in order to recover ordinary control, the contents in an input converting area A-1, arithmetic work converting area A-2 and output converting area A-3 are returned into initial state and afterwards, output processing is executed similarly to the time of ordinary control. When the nonmatching of collation is discriminated in any parameter, on the other hand, instruction execution abnormality processing is immediately executed and the alarm of such a state is issued to the outside and the operation of a CPU 10 is stopped. |
