The device has several spiral antenna elements (SP) produced on a single substrate. Each element consists of two parallel spiral tracks (B1, B2), which are not galvanically connected to each other. The outer end of each track has an extension (Bxi) which joins a track (PBxi) around the periphery (CP) of the whole circuit. Each extension track (Bxi, PBxi) terminates on the outside of the periphery, at the opposite symmetrical point from its start. The spacing between the adjacent spiral elements is equal to half the wavelength of the upper frequency of the intended bandwidth. |
