PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce toner consumption at need, even in an original whose surface density is high and further, to attain a proper surface removal by providing a toner consumption reducing device, a surface removing device and a control part for recollecting an exposure, when both of the devices are selected. SOLUTION: One image forming device is provided with the toner consumption reducing device (toner saver), the surface removing device (AE) and the control part 9 executing control for preventing an image density from being too high in a part where an original density is low, even if both of the devices are actuated. When the AE is selected, a developing bias is switched according to the output of an AE sensor 4. After that, when the toner saver is selected, the exposure is corrected and the control for increasing at least one of a charge quantity and the developing bias is attained. Then, it is judged whether the simultaneous selection of the AE and the toner saver is in execution or not. When the simultaneous selection is in execution, the control for correcting the exposure is attained again. Thus, the problem of the fact that the image is too different from the original can be eliminated. |
