Operation of print station with connected sheet folding machine

The combined station has a printing machine 1 that generates a continuous stream of sheets that are fed to a folding machine 5. The printed sheets received are directed through a guide 11 and onto a paper feeder 3 of the folding machine. The sheets are fed along the rail 11 and exactly aligned in an alignment section 13. An air or infrared drying station 15 is positioned along the transport section. Data is transmitted to control the folding actions, the speed and the number of sheets handled. Drying stations are built into the handling system.
