The device for the continuous bonding of strips comprises two modules (16, 17) longitudinally movable by two cylinders (25, 26) and bearing cutting elements (50, 45) and mobile celotape holders (47, 48, 49). The end of the prepared strip (6) is first fixed on the first module (16) with a clip (35), and the prepared bobbin (3) is blocked. For the bonding, the unwinding bobbin (5) is blocked with a clip (20), the strips are cut with a cutter (50), then the modules (16, 17) are moved in opposite directions to bring the mobile cellotape holders (47, 48) in the gluing area and to move apart simultaneously the strip chutes. The mobile cellotape holders (47, 48) apply the cellotape on both surfaces of the strips to be bonded, then the clip (20) is loosened. Thus the preparation of the strips is made much easier, and the device ensures a particularly reliable but inexpensive bonding. |
