Solvent extract of intact brood honeycomb

A novel extract (I) of the brood honeycomb of bees is obtained from the intact honeycomb containing living bees, by chopping the honeycomb into fine pieces, and extracting the mixture or fractions obtained from it, by contact with a solvent and removal of insoluble material.
