PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording material having high color density and improving the preservable stability of the non-image area and a photosensitive and heat sensitive recording material using a system by which a polymer image obtd. by photosetting is converted into a visible image by thermal development. CONSTITUTION:When a layer contg. an electron accepting compd. and microcapsules contg. an electron donative colorless dye is formed on a substrate to produce a recording material, 3-halo-4-hydroxybenzoic ester having a polymerizable ethylene group is used as the electron accepting compd. |
