<p>The sleeve is connected to an internal tube, particularly of plastic, e.g.PVC, by placing a seal between the parts. At one end, the sleeve is provided with an integral flange and one or more clamps are arranged around the tube and next to the flange to clamp the tube inwardly. Each clamp is a bent section that acts against the flange. The inner surfaces have a high friction coating from e.g. rubber or a ribbed or toothed surface.</p> |
