<p>The device comprises an object (OB) which is intended to be thrown from one player to another, or slid along the ground between two players. It comprises a flat disc-shape forming a box, the surfaces of which may be concave in order to offer the minimum of friction as it slides over the ground. The box is made in two parts accommodating an electronic circuit within the internal space. This carries light-emitting diodes (LED 1-3) on its edges, and a pushbutton in the middle. The circuit includes a shock detector, arranged so that if the object receives a shock, e.g. by falling on the ground, this triggers the operation of the LEDs and possibly also a piezoelectric buzzer mounted within the casing. These may be reset by operation of the pushbutton. A logic circuit is provided to control operation of the LEDs in response to the activation of the shock detector.</p> |
